The #NashuaStreetPianos project was established in 2016 by dedicated organizers from Great American Downtown and North Main Music. This project represents the culmination of many months of preparation, dreaming, enthusiasm, and expression, all made possible with the support of the City of Nashua as well as many generous businesses and individuals. In 2017, this program has brought a total of three creatively painted pianos to Main Street. The pianos are kept in tune and playable by the public from May through October by Frank Nelson’s Piano Service!
The 2017 roll-out of the Nashua Street Pianos were rolled out the day of the first ever Nu Muse Festival in Downtown Nashua, on May 6, and will go until 2pm that afternoon.
